The dignity and refinement of this gentleman inspired me to cast my first vote in a presidential election to make him the 41st President of the United States. I was again inspired when George H. W. Bush became a champion of equality in signing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). From this single piece of legislation, Mr. Bush set in motion a permanent and positive change in the American way of life and an example for the rest of the world. The ADA has brought about a more level playing field for people with disabilities through prohibition of discrimination and better access to places, jobs, and the means to get to both -- transportation. It is an honor and a pleasure to work in an industry that seeks to realize that vision for every American. Thank you, Mr. President, and may you rest in peace.
